Resources for Incoming and First-Year Students
Learn about Academic Advising's programs for incoming and first-year students, including Approaching Stanford, the Leland Scholars Program, Frosh 101, and more!

Approaching Stanford
Approaching Stanford is the process that guides all new undergraduates in the transition to life on The Farm. From the day you are admitted up through New Student Orientation in September, Approaching Stanford is here for you!

Summer Bridge Program
The Summer Bridge program combines an academic experience with co-curricular programming designed to help our Bridge Scholars find community and become familiar with campus resources. Whether you're online or on campus, you'll be able to take classes that prepare you for the work you'll do in your first year and participate in weekly activities and events that will help you get a headstart on building friendships that may well last you through your four years at Stanford.
