Peer Mentoring for Frosh

Main content start

This is our Pilot Year

We are excited to offer peer mentors to a subset of frosh based on your dorm assignment during our pilot year.  As the program expands in future years, we anticipate that all frosh will have an assigned peer mentor. If you have been assigned a peer mentor this year, you will find their drop in hours advertised in your Undergraduate Advising Director's (UAD's) weekly email outreach, as well as on your dorm social media accounts. If you are not sure if you have a peer mentor assigned to you, ask your UAD!

Some Reasons to meet with a Peer Mentor

  • You have a question about enrollment
  • You need help finding tutoring or other academic support
  • You want help understanding the General Education Requirements
  • You want support with your Introsem statement of interest
  • You have questions about which AP/IB credits will count
  • You need help using Navigate Classes
  • You want to speak with someone who has recently had a similar experience

You should also meet with your UAD

Peer Mentors can help with some topics, but your UAD is an indispensable resource for you as you navigate your Stanford journey. Your UAD can help with with everything listed above, plus a lot more! Book an appointment with your UAD here
