Academic Advising

Main content start

As the office of Academic Advising, we introduce and orient undergraduates to Stanford.  We guide students in exploring their interests, setting goals, and finding meaning in academics and co‑curricular activities.

Academic Advising launches each student’s educational journey beginning with Approaching Stanford, Summer Bridge Programs, New Student Orientation, and Frosh 101/Transfer 101.  Academic Advisors support students throughout their Stanford education—to help with course selection, choice of major, pre-professional pathways, research opportunities, and more.
